tag, I’m it!

Did anyone ever really like playing the childhood game tag? I’m pretty sure I always hated to play with its undertones of playground aggression camouflaged by the giggles and squeals of the participants. Gracious, I needed to lighten up as a kid!

Well, I’m happy to report I’ve recovered from my mild tag-phobia to join a group of paper ‘n stitch exhibitors in a very friendly game of shop tag. Tania over at indo bay textiles started things off last week by tagging the Ardent Sparrow shop, and then Ardent Sparrow tagged laugh.love.believe, and so on. My shop was tagged by the lovely paper crafting Patty over at p.s. it’s in the details on Friday (who by the way had the kindest things to say and completely made my day), meaning it is now my turn to choose a shop to feature. When I was looking through all of the diverse and talented exhibitors to choose from, my eye kept returning to one shop in particular so…{drum roll} I am tagging the mom-daughter team from Pretty N Preppy!

One of the biggest inspirations in my creative life comes from textiles and fabrics – I love the colors, the graphical elements, the textures…so when I saw all of the modern and whimsical fabrics Jennifer and Janet use to spice up travel mugs and water bottles along with the sweet baby bibs and other sewn items they create, it made perfect sense for me to tag their shop. I also love the idea of their mother-daughter creative team, and am happy to feature them- so please visit their shops and sites listed below. Thank you Jennifer and Janet, and you know what this means… You’re it!

Tania Sarah, I already knew you took lovely photos but you are also quite the writer! What a wonderful post & quite humorous I might add. I love prettynpreppy for all the same reasons. Thanks so much for sharing such a lovely, dynamic duo! :)
