A Kincaid family Story, part one || Franklin, TN Childhood & Family Photographer

“It’s been ten years now, and I’m rooted in your soul…Tennessee, you’ve been good to me”- Mindy Smith

Oh, how I love this family. The Kincaids are preparing to embark on one of this life’s great adventures – relocating thousands of miles away from the Tennessee hills, barns and creeks they have called home for close to a decade now.  I have been sitting here staring at the computer screen searching for any words to appropriately describe how I feel about them and my vocabulary is completely failing me. The emotion is full and present, and yet the words may never be…For now I will most simply say, thank you friends for allowing me the opportunity to look through a camera on a quintessential Tennessee spring day and see your hearts. You have been good to Tennessee.

All my love,

-Sarah

(Oh, and yes, this post says “part one”- I’ll be back in a couple of days with more images of the newest member to this amazing family):-)

Julie Dumond Sarah,
The pictures are just wonderful and I totally get there are no words. This family has greatly been an impact on our family. We love them as if they are our own- which they in Christ.
Rashelle will always hold a special place in Mark’s heart as a stand in daughter in his life. Though younger Rashelle has been a mentor to me in this stage of my life- speaking words of great wisdom into my life for and from God.
She is a light shining on the hill.

Thank you for the pics and story..we will be looking forward to the next one.
Julie
